Iran, largest producer of colored TV billboards in Middle East

TEHRAN – Domestically made colored TV billboards, monitors and scoreboards annually save the country some Rls.70b, a report by the TETA Co. said.

As the largest producer of colored TV billboards, monitors and scoreboards in the Middle East, TETA Company began its work in Iran in 1992, a fax released on Saturday by the company quoted Hassan Khakbaz, the CEO of the company as saying.

He commented to the installation of the company’s products in over 1,000 sports facilities and factories inside the country as well as the products’ exports to a number of foreign countries such as the Republic of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates and regarded them as significant achievements gained by the company. He also referred to Yemen and Saudi Arabia as the next target markets for the company’s products and said that he expected that the products would soon find their way into the markets in other countries too.

TETA company director estimated the annual need of the country for the products to be at about 5,000 square meters and expressed hope that future projects in the field would contribute to the enhancement and development of other sectors including tourism.
